His obituary:
Warren L. Ingle age 73, passed away Sept. 1, 2008 with his family by his side. He had a short, courageous battle with lung cancer. This was difficult as he had suffered two severe strokes in 2000 and worked so very hard to overcome them to the best of his ability.

He was born in Cando, North Dakota to Arthur and Beatrice Ingle. By the age of two his family had relocated in Wenatchee, Washington. After graduation from Wenatchee High School he served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. John McCain and the U.S.S. Currier as a sonarman from 1956-1960. Upon discharge he was employed with Industrial X-Ray Engineers in Seattle as a Radiographer. While there, he supervised the x-ray team that worked on the Space Needle.

This profession led him to Oakland, California to relieve an ailing employee. While there an automobile accident with a Bart Transit bus on the Bay Bridge put him in Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco. There he met the love of his life, Janice Nash, a student nurse. They were married July 1, 1961.

Warren was a member of the American Society of Non-Destructive Testing. He established the Radiographic Department at Atlas Foundry in 1972. He retired from the Boeing Company in 2000 after sixteen years of special work, including projects such as the B2 Stealth Bomber and other tactical fighters.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-seven years, Janice; daughter Cynthia Howells and grandson Evan of Edgewood.; son Greg and special daughter-in-law Michele, granddaughter Jessica and grandson Logan of Tacoma; brother, David and Rose Ingle of Maple Valley, sisters Ellen Gores of Burien and Daisy Morris of Mountlake Terrace. Also numerous special nieces and nephews and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Viola Ferguson.

Please remember his sense of humor and caring personality.

Viewing will be Thursday, Sept. 4th 4-8pm, and Friday, Sept. 5th at noon. Services will follow on Friday, Sept. 5th at 1pm. Powers Funeral Home, 320 West Pioneer Ave., Puyallup, WA 98371.
