RITES SET TODAY FOR T.S. NELSON
T.S. Nelson, Sr., 87, retired merchant, died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday at the Extended Care Unit in Ruston following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were to be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Kilpatricks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. A.H. Johnson officiating.
Burial was to take place in Greenwood Cemetery in Ruston under Kilpatricks Funeral Home of Ruston. Masonic graveside services will be conducted.
A native of Ruston, Mr. Nelson was a charter member of the Emmanuel Baptist Chruch. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Ruston.
Survivors include his wife; one son C.L. Nelson of Las Vegas, NV, two daughters Mrs. Joyce N. Brown and Mrs. G.M. Foster, both of Ruston, one sister, Mrs. Oscar McAllister of Ruston, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
