Mary C. Heath was the daughter of James Heath and Chloe McComas who moved from Cabell County, Va (now WV) into early Platte Co Missouri by 1839. Mary C. Heath married 3 Dec 1865 in Platte Co. MO, Isaac W. Wilson b.ca. 1843 MO. In the census he stated his father was born in Kentucky.

Mary C. Heath inherited one seventh as one of the seven named heirs when her father James Heath died in 1864. She and her husband Isaac W. Wilson sold the inherited land to her sister Lucinda Heath Malott’s husband William M. Malott for $500 on Dec. 28, 1865. The portion of land sold to her sisters husband was described as: “The undivided seventh part of the E 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of section 35, twp 52, range 35; S 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of section 35, twp 52, range 35.; also 40 acres part of the SW 1/4 of sec. 34 twp 52 of range 35.”

Isaac W. Wilson served with other Heath and McComas kin in the KS Volunteer Cavalry, Co. G, Regiment 5 during the civil war. Following the war, he married Mary C. Heath. The young couple, Mary and Isaac Wilson moved to CA.

Isaac W. Wilson is listed in the 30 June 1875 California Great Register in Santa Barbara, California. He is listed in the 23 Aug 1879 California Great Register for Compton, Los Angeles Co CA. and also in 13 June 1884 Compton, Los Angeles register.

In the June 28, 1880 census they are farming in Wilmington, Los Angeles Co. CA. (list no children) living next door to Joseph E. McComas, his 2nd wife Emma (Langley) McComas, son James L. McComas age 18 (from first marriage to Rebecca Yount) and son Rush McComas age 2 (child of 2nd wife Emma Langley. Both families moved from Platte Co. MO and are farming. Joseph E. McComas (born 1834) was the son of Hiram McComas and Rebecca Hatfield. Living as neighbors on the other side of the Heaths and McComas families is Henry and Alice Yount and their children Dora and Frank Yount.

Isaac W. Wilson is listed in a Ca voting record in Pomona, CA 1886. He filed for his civil war pension 12 Mar 1889 so was still living at that time. I have been unable to locate their death information or burial information.

I found a death record for a Mary C. Wilson 6 Oct 1909 San Joaquin Co. CA. I have no way of knowing if it was her.
