Jo Ann Kresge passed away on May 13, 2019 in Irving, Texas at the age of 84. She is survived by her sons, Charles (wife Kim) and Allen (wife Gina), cousins, and many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
Jo Ann was born on September 7, 1934 in Galveston, Texas to Joseph and Imogene Kelly. She attended St. Patrick’s Grade School and Ursuline Academy under the tutelage of the nuns. Upon graduation, she attended nursing school in Houston.
In Dallas, she also began her career working for Holy Trinity Catholic School and became a member at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. While there, she worked for and proudly supported the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Her other jobs included AB Dick and UT Southwestern, both in Dallas.
Jo Ann was a lifelong musician, playing both piano and guitar. She enjoyed traveling and had many fond memories of her trip to Europe and Ireland.
Truly, Jo Ann enriched the lives of everyone who met her and will be missed.
