Norma J. Ford, 82, of Tipton, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at her home in Tipton, surrounded by her family.


Norma has been cremated. There will be no visitation or funeral services held. Iowa Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids, is in charge of the arrangements.


Private family graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., August 8, with burial in the Tipton Masonic Cemetery, Tipton, Iowa.


Norma Jean Wiebel was born September 16, 1937, in Wilton, the daughter of Arthur and Esther (Heabner) Wiebel. She married Eldon Lee Ford on August 15, 1953, in Tipton. Eldon preceded her in death on December 11, 2017.


Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Ford of Waco, TX, and Teresa (Abelino) Ramirez of Rock Island, IL; four sons, Lonnie (Mary) Ford of Atalissa, Randy (Robin) Ford and Scott Ford, both of Rochester and Shane Ford of Tipton; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.


She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one daughter, Connie Sue Ford.
