---Dana was born on August 26, 1976, in Macon, the daughter of James and Jane (Nicolai) Britt. She was united in marriage to Shain Ford on May 17, 1997, in Marceline, MO. Dana was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Marceline and enjoyed decorating her home, taking care of all her beautiful flowers, and especially spending time with her family.
---Dana is survived by her husband, Shain Ford of the home; four children, Dylan, Alexis, Dallas, and John; her parents, James and Jane Britt of Callao, MO; paternal grandmother, Dorothea Britt of Macon, one sister, Michelle Lenzini and her husband Julio of Bevier, MO; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws and other extended family.
---She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Primo and Virginia Nicolia and paternal grandfather, Clifford Britt.
---Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 1, 2020, at the Hutton & McElwain Home in Macon with Bro. John Edwards and Rev. Dale Britt officiating. Burial will be in the New Chariton Cemetery north of Callao. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the Ford Children’s Education Fund.
