ELDRIDGE L. SIMON

Eldridge L. (Curley) Simon, 57, died early this morning at a hospital here. He had been with the truck department of Swift & Co. for 32 years.

Mr. Simon was well known in amateur baseball circles. His home was on rural route No. 3, Maxwell Road. Mr. Simon was a lifelong St. Joseph resident.

Survivor are his wife, Mrs. Tresa Simon; two daughters, Mrs. Warren Neudorff and Mrs. Emmett Hawkins Jr., and three sons, Billy E.; Bob L., and Raymond F. Simon, all of St. Joseph; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Long, Decatur, Ill.; Mrs. Harry Skaggs, Independence, Mo., and Mrs. John Carver, St Joseph, and seven grandchildren.

The body is at the Heaton-Bowman funeral home.
