"Doc" Collins

L.R. "Doc" Collins, 72, of Elliot, died Sunday morning at Grenada County Hospital. He was a retired farmer.

Funeral services were held today at 3 p.m. from the chapel of National Funeral Home. revs. Norris Corley and D.C. Hartley officiated at the services. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery, Winona.

Mr. Collins leaves his daughter, Miss Annie Ruth Collins of Grenada; his son, Jimmy Ray Collins, also of Grenada, two sisters, Lottie Robinson of Paducah, Ky., and Susie Richards of Marion, Ind.; two brothers, Nick Collins of Winona and lay Collins of Upland, Calif.; two grandchildren.

National Funeral Home of Grenada was in charge of arrangements.
