YORKTOWN - Clydelle Jacob, 101, of Yorktown, died Thursday, July 19, 2007.

She was born Sept. 28, 1905, in Milano, to the late John and Martha Alley Lantrip.

She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Yorktown.

She is survived by her daughter, Clydelle Schroeder of Yorktown; three grandchildren, Arlene Schroeder, Norma and Robert Schendel, Stuart and Mary Schroeder; and five great-grandchildren, Cody, Claire and Caleb Schendel, Daniel and Michael Schroeder.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Jacob; sisters, Alma Hildebrandt, Maud York, Lillie Reese, Pearl Bullock and Jonnie Nicholson and brothers William, Alley and Henry Lantrip.

Visitation will be from 5-6:30 p.m. today at Lamprecht-Janssen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday July 21, 2007, at the funeral home with interment to follow at Westside Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to First Presbyterian Church.

Clydelle Jacob was a member of the William P. Rogers Chapter 44, United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC), located in Victoria, Texas and she was a member of the Real Granddaughters Club.

Her Confederate Ancestor was John H. Alley.

Among her survivors are her daughter, Clydelle Schroeder, her two granddaughters, Arlene Schroeder and Norma Schendel, all from Yorktown, and members of the William P. Rogers Chapter 44, UDC.

Among her great-grandchildren are Cody, Claire and Caleb Schendel, all members of the Genevieve Stevenson Chapter #604, Children of the Confederacy, located in Victoria, Texas.
