William Heaven is the son of John Heaven Jr. and Mary Henderson-Heaven. His wife is unknown but they had several children those known are:

1. John Heaven - married Margaret Peggy Oatts
2. Amy Heaven - married Charles Mullin
3. Samuel Heaven

It seems Samuel was only seventeen when his father William died in 1814 and he was taken in by his uncle Joseph Heaven, Joseph paid bond to M. Gregory to teach Samuel the trade as a Blacksmith until age 21.

John Heaven son of William was an attorney and he was hired by his sister Amy and brother Samuel to recover what was owed them from the their father William's estate who it seems died intestate.
