Bob lived in Harlan County Kentucky most all of his life. He was the son of Elmer E. McKnight and Ethel Mae Smith. He was the oldest sibling to Jerry, Don, Bill,Larry(David),Michael(Eddie),Carlos,Wilma,Gladys and Thelma. He married Ruby Jeanette Willis on August 6,1951 at the city park in Cumberland Ky. They had seven children: Carlos(Pete), Paul(Danny), Phyllis, Donna, Shirley, Robert and Kathy. At the time of his death; he had fourteen grandchildren (Melissa, Stacey, Paul Jr, Paula, Courtney, Lucas, William(Buddy),Kristie, Lori, Jeremy, Robin, Brittany, Jason and Daniel) and two great grandchildren(Joseph and Shannon). He is buried in a private cemetery near his ex-wife (Ruby) above his son Danny's home in Cumberland, Ky. Occupation: coalminer(as his father,several brothers,two sons,a grandson and several other family members were). Cause of death: Myocardial Infarction, Diabetes related.
