Mary Pauline Padilla-Walters, 86, of McAlester, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at McAlester Regional Health Center.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in McAlester with Father Jovita Okonkwo officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in McAlester.

Pauline was born on October 27, 1933 in Gowen, Oklahoma to William Lee and Laura Mae (Hunt) Neathery. She was married to Louis Padilla, Sr. on December 26, 1951 in New Mexico and he preceded her in death in 1996. She later married Charlie Walters on April 24, 2008 in Eufaula and he preceded her in death later in 2008. She was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed poetry, arts and crafts. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in McAlester.

Survivors include her son, Louis Padilla, Jr.; grandchildren and spouses, Kelly Drusen, Tammera Drusen and fiancé Greg Thomason, Keith E. and Jennifer Drusen, Joshua Padilla and Trish Haven, Thomas and Haley Drusen, Jacob and Carlie Padilla and Jarod Padilla; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Skylar Saffell, Ryleigh Pedigo, Rylee Allsup, Christian Padilla, Bella Padilla, Journee Padilla, Railian Padilla, Maximila Padilla and Korbin Drusen; one great-great-grandchild, Jesley Saffell; two brothers, Ray Neathery and Cliff Neathery, and one sister, Laura Mae Trussell; special daughter-in-law, Joyce Padilla; son-in-law and spouse, Keith C. and Connie Drusen; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Drusen; her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, A.J. and Letticia Padilla; sisters, Willie Padilla, Tee Anna Bishop and a brother, Paul Neathery.

Active pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Keith E. Drusen, Joshua Padilla, Thomas Drusen, Jacob Padilla, Jarod Padilla and a great-grandson, Jackson Saffell. Honorary pallbearers will be Alvin Baker, Herman Flores, Dan Flores and Carlos Padilla, Jr.
