Husband of Laura Hunt Neathery. Father of Paul, Roy, Clifton, Willie [Padilla], Pauline [Padilla], Tee Anna [Bishop] and Laura Mae [Trussell].

Funeral services were held last Thursday, Dec. 12 at 2pm for William Lee Neathery. He died at the age of 87. William Neathery was born July 3,1887 Arkansas and passed away Dec. 9. He was married to Laura Mae Hunt June 6, 1927 at Gowen and was a long time resident of the Hartshorne area. Surviving relatives are: wife, Mrs. Laura Neathery of the home, three sons; Vinson Neathery of Orlando, Fla., Roy Neathery of Ft. Smith Ark., and Clifton Neathery of Camarillo, Calif., four daughters; Mrs. Geneva Padillo of Ashville, Ala., Mrs. Pauline Padillo of Camarillo, Calif., Mrs. Laura Trussell of Okmulgee, Okla., and Mrs. Tee Anna Bishop of Arvade, Col., Twenty seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and one sister; Mrs. Emma James of Wewoka, Okla. Rev. Chester Platt officiated at the services which were held at the Meills Funeral Home. Interment was held in the Gowen Cemetery.
