HARMON ADKINS, 62, of East Lynn, husband of Lilly Watts Adkins, died Wednesday in Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was a former coal miner. Also surviving are four daughters, Kathryn Work man of Genoa, Betty Staley and Mamie Miller, both of East Lynn, and Gladys Lucas of Wayne; and five sons, Steve Adkins, at home, Harmon Jackson Adkins, Phillip Dale Adkins and Carlos Fitzgerald Adkins, all of East Lynn, and Dav id Lee Adkins of Wayne.
Funeral 1 p.m. Saturday at Laurel Freewill Baptist Church, Wayne; burial in Community Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the church. Johnson-Nichols Funeral Home, Wayne, is in charge of arrangements.
