Martina Cruz, 96, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at her home in Brazoria. She was born January 30, 1924 in Gonzales to Candelario and Tomasa Cruz.
Survivors include 7 children, Damacio Bentancur and wife, Herminia, Simona Aldape and husband, Arnold, Susie Rojas, Maria Lopez and husband, Joe, Porfiro Davis Bentancur, Rosie Vasquez and husband, John, Eddie Bentancur and wife, Martha; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 5 brothers, and 2 children, Espiranza Abrego and Arturo Bentancur.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from Noon until service time of Friday. Social distancing is required and masks are mandatory to attend services.
