Funeral Services for Francisco F. Cruz, 91, of Rosenberg, Texas is scheduled for Wednesday November 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 514 Carlisle St. in Rosenberg. Burial will follow at Houston National Cemetery 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive in Houston, Texas 77030.
Visitation will be held Tuesday November 12, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.
Mr. Cruz was born January 23, 1922 in Gonzales, Texas and he passed away November 7, 2013 in Rosenberg, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Candelario and Tomasa Cruz, Sr.; his son Frank Cruz.; his infant daughter Mary Jane Cruz; his brothers Ramon Cruz, Demencio Cruz, Candelario Cruz, Jr.; Fernando Cruz and Ramon Amaro; his sisters Maria Amaro, Julia Cano, Virginia Bentancur and Paula Bijarro; his grandchild Antonia Cruz Perez; his great grandchildren Philip Ortega and Angel Oliverez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Angelita Cruz; his sons Juan Cruz, Sr., Antonio Cruz; his daughters Theresa Cruz Sotello, Guadalupe Cruz Morin, Beatrice Cruz Gaona, Petra Cruz, Maryann Lucio and husband Andrew, Maria Cloudt and husband James; his sister Martina Bentancur; 22 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren as well as other loving family members and friends.
