LaRue was married to her eternal companion, Kenneth Julien, for 66 years. LaRue was a very kind and caring person, full of love for everyone. She was an excellent reader. She had a quick wit and ready smile and loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved and appreciated her neighbors. She was an avid Jazz fan.
LaRue was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She served as a Relief Society, Young Women's and Primary President. She also served on a mission and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
LaRue is survived by her husband, Ken; her two boys, Stephen (Betty) of Cedar City, Utah; and Craig (Linda) of Layton, Utah; her brother, Claud; sisters, Mabel and Mildred; and 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. LaRue was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Reva and Rita and her brothers, Milton and Clifford.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2007 at the Oak Hills Chapel, 455 South 1200 East, Bountiful, Utah. Friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
