Alfred F. Alde, 84, of Pana died 3:15 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 22, 1981) in Pana Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in McCracken Funeral Home, Pana, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pana.
Mr. Alde was born in Pana, son of Adolph and Ida Alde. He was a retired painter at Mueller Co., Decatur, a World War I veteran and a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. He married Ruby Rutherford in 1925.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Peggy) Goatley of Pana; brother, Walter of Lincoln; sisters, Mrs. Kirk (Amelia) Weddle of Pana; Marie Schurer of Chicago; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
