He is preceded in death by his parents and brother John Carroll.
Patrick was very involved in his community. He was an avid athlete, president of the Wal-Mart Swim Club, and enjoyed competing in triathlons across NWA with the Triple Threat Cycling Club. Patrick helped shape NWA and more specifically Bentonville. He was a member of the Bentonville Planning Commission for several years and was also the president of the Bentonville Library Foundation. He was instrumental in bringing ice hockey to the area, and helped in an advisory role, and even coached for some time. Patrick was a die-hard fan of the San Jose Sharks, the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Having faith in God, he attended St. Stephen Catholic Church.
He is survived by his loving wife; Diana Carroll of Bentonville, daughter Nicole (Victor) Chalfant of Fayetteville, three sons; Michael (Jen) Eitel of Austin, Texas, Sean (Sarah) Carroll of Buffalo, New York, Kyle Carroll of Bentonville, and one grandchild; Sloane Carroll.
A visitation will be held at the chapel of Stockdale-Moody Funeral Home, Friday, June 5, 2020 from 5:30-7:30 PM. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens. During the Covid-19 pandemic, all visitations and services will be held in accordance with Arkansas Department of Health guidelines.
