Spurlock
Mary Katherine Spurlock, 72, of Galena Pike, West Portsmouth, died Friday at Mercy Hospital.
A Scioto County native she attended Rehoboth Missionary Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Earl Spurlock, in 1974, she is survived by two sons, Thomas of West Portsmouth and Richard of Salado, Tex.; a daughter Carolyn Shupert of West Portsmouth; five brothers, Paul Denning of Minford, Wayne Denning of West Portsmouth, Herbert Denning of Portsmouth, Ralph Denning of Payne and Jerry Denning of Marengo; five sisters, Elnora Montgomery of Hilliard, Betty Rollings of Columbus, Olive Rafliff of Payne, Elizabeth Eulett of Vanlue and Ethel Hicks of New Haven, Ind.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services are planned at 2 p.m. Monday at Roger W. Davis Funeral home, with the REv. Orga Creech officiating and burial in Rushtown Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight, anytime Sunday and until the hour of services Monday at the funeral home.
