Funeral services for 78 year old Kelly Wallace Sholar of Cadiz will be Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at King’s Funeral Home with Pastor Rick McGowan officiating. Burial will follow in Trigg Memory Acres. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at King’s Funeral Home.

He was born in Trigg Co., KY on August 20, 1938 to the late Jesse Smoot Sholar & Anna Rosella Choate Sholar. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his wife, Dena Sholar; three brothers, Robert Sholar, Hayden Sholar & Millard Sholar in infancy; three sisters, Frances Herndon, Icie Drew Lawrence & Brooxie Nell Francis.
He died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at his home following a short illness.
He was a Steelworker and a member of the Northwest Baptist Church in Hopkinsville.
