Josephine Culpeper
Mrs. Josephine Culpeper died Tuesday in Wesley Village Nursing Home, Laflin, after an illness. She was the widow of Alvin Culpeper.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late John and Anna Karpinski Glogowski, she lived in New York for many years before returning to Scranton in 1974. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Delores Labone, Stark, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Baldacci, Scranton, and Mrs. Mamie Rutkowski, Detroit, Mich.; a son, Stephen, New York; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Joseph, Alex, Bernard, Adam, Michael and John.
The funeral will be Friday from the Dominick A. Musso Funeral Home, 1315 Pittston Ave., with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary Church. Interment, parish cemetery.
Viewing, Thursday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m.
