Michael Glogowski
Michael Glogowski, Sr. 3329 Birney Ave., Moosic, husband of the former Sophie Kania, died Sunday in State General Hospital after an illness.
A son of the late John and Anna Karpinski Glogowski, he was born in Scranton and was educated in the local public schools.
Mr. Glogowski was a member of St. Mary's Church, Greenwood. He was last employed by the Riverside School District.
Other survivors are a son, Michael Jr., Greenwood; three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Rutkowski, Detroit, Mich.; and Mrs. Stella Baldacci, and Mrs. Josephine Culpepper, Scranton; a brother, Alex, Harding; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Wednesday from the Dorothy Talipski Funeral Home, 3401 Pittston Ave., with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church. Interment, parish cemetery. Viewing, tonight, 7 to 9, and Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
