Carl E. Walker, age 65, of Mechanicsburg passed away on Tuesday, March 17th at his home surrounded by family. Born on May 10th, 1954, he was the son of the late Lloyd D. Walker and Faye L. Walker (Smith) of Marysville. He was the widower of Bonnie M. Walker (Golden). Carl is survived by his brother David L. Walker (Rita) of Camp Hill. Carl is survived by his children: Aimee Snow (Chad Baker) of Camp Hill, and Adam Walker (Christine) of Carlisle. Grandchildren: David Snow, Victoria Snow, Brittany Snow, Zackary Snow, Justin Snow, Anthony Snow, Andrew Snow, Iyan Snow, Ryan Snow, Kolton Baker, Kaden Baker, Carmichael Walker, Macy Walker, Kinsley Walker, Kingston Walker, and Greyson Walker; and four great grandchildren: Emma Arbogast, Caden White, Matthew Kern and Brooklyn Kern. He was a graduate of Susquenita High School. The owner of Walker's Maintenance Service for 44 years. A fire chief for 31 years for East Pennsboro Township. (Creekside Volunteer Fire Company). After retiring as fire chief he continued to serve his community and surrounding communities by responding to fire calls with rehab materials. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, and going to the beach. He was always the life of the party. Due to the COVID19 protocol, graveside services at Newport Cemetery will be private. A public visitation and service will be announced at a later date. The Sullivan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Walker family.
