Bonnie Mae Walker, 65, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the Geisinger-Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill.

Born on November 2, 1952 in Mechanicsburg, she was a daughter of the late Harry Emerson Sr. and Hattie Mae (Berkheimer) Golden. On November 4, 1973 in Harrisburg, she married her surviving husband, Carl Eugene Walker, with whom she was blessed to share more than 44 years of marriage.

She was a 1971 graduate of Blue Mountain Academy and was employed as an Administrative Assistant at her family's business, Walker's Maintenance in Mechanicsburg.

Bonnie was a member of the Harrisburg Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she was on the Church's School Board, the Church Board, served as a kindergarten teacher, and assisted with the Church's Pathfinder's organization.

Mrs. Walker enjoyed flowers, gardening, crafts, going to the beach, camping, sitting in the sun, and singing music.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Aimee Snow of New Cumberland and Adam Walker and his wife Christine of Carlisle; two brothers, Harry Golden, Jr. and his wife Corinne of Dillsburg and Dennis Golden and his wife Mary of Harrisburg; sixteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her beloved canine companion, Emilie.

Family will receive friends on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral services at 11:30 AM at Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc, 51 N. Enola Drive, Enola with Rev. David Sanner officiating. Burial will follow in the Newport Cemetery. The Sullivan Funeral Home Is Honored To Serve The Walker Family.
