Anna S. Reed, 83, of 617 N. Orchard St., West Frankfort, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday in Union Hospital, West Frankfort. She was born March 15, 1885, in Carterville to Samuel and Mary Luetrell Keele. Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde, in 1932 and a son, Donald.

She is survived by three daughters, Faye McDermott and Hazel Mosley, both of West Frankfort, and Amelia Sanders, Evansville, Ind.; a son, Arthur Downey; eight grandchildren. 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services in Union Funeral Home, West Frankfort. The Rev. Fred Diterich officiating with burial in Tower Heights Cemetery.
