WEST FRANKFORT MAN DIES IN UNION HOSPITAL
Jess Keele, 72, West Frankfort, died at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Union Hospital.
He was a retired miner, last working at Old Ben 8. He belonged to the United Mine Workers of America Local 8317.
He leaves sisters Mrs. Anna Reed of west Frankfort, Mrs. Zanie Mercer of Mt. Vernon, and brother Charles of Kooskia, Idaho.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Walker Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Burial will be in Denning Cemetery.
