INTERRED AT SAN PIERRE
Louis P. Baker, formerly of San Pierre and a resident of Gosport, Ind., died in the Greencastle, Ind. Hospital, Sunday, Jan. 24.
Born March 19, 1896 in San Pierre, he was a station agent for the Monon Railraod at San Pierre. He moved to Gosport, Ind., 19 years ago and took the same position there. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of North Judson. Surviving are the widow, Martha, of Gosport; a son, Clifford, Bloomington, Ind.; a granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Kingman, San Pierre; four brothers, Edward, Momence, Ill.; Emil, Kalamazoo, Mich.; Paul, Chicago; and John, San Pierre.
The funeral was held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Gosport, followed by services at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Luke's Evangelical and Reformed Church in San Pierre with Rev. Leonard Stark, officiating. Burial was in San Pierre cemetery with Masonic graveside services.
