Clifford G. "Pop" Baker, 90, of Unionville, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the Bloomington Hospital.

Born, November 18, 1918, in San Pierre, IN; he was the son of Louis P. and Martha (Cain) Baker.

Pop was an engineer at R.C.A. for 32 years, but his true passion was woodworking.

He was a member of the Monroe County Masonic Lodge #22 for over 60 years.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Edrice (Jent) Baker of Unionville, one son, Michael A. Baker and his wife Cindy of Bloomington, two daughters, Mary Ann Chitwood and her husband Greg of Unionville, Martha Susan Plew and her husband Frank of Moyie Springs, ID; grandchildren, Anna Marie Sparks of Washington D.C.; Tony Sparks and his wife Rebecca of Brown County, Clinton Chitwood and his wife Bridgette of Unionville, Amanda Cain and her husband Chris of Judah, Katy Cradick and her husband Ian of Bloomington, two great-grandchildren, Tucker and Hunter Chitwood.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
