Mrs Susanna E Rudy Wealand, 93, formerly of Schoeneck, died at 3 a.m. Monday at the home of her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wealand, Hopeland, after a lengthy illness.
The widow, of Peter E Wealand she had resided with her son in law and daughter for the past ten months.
Born in West Cocalico Twp., she was a daughter of the late Fred and Amanda Rudy. She was a member of Mellinger's Lutheran Church near Schoeneck.
Surviving are four children, Amanda, wife of Albert Wealand, with whom she resided; Susan, wife of Robert Sweigart, Reinholds R1; Harry, Denver, and Mazie, wife of David Messner, Ephrata R1. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 27 great grand children, five great great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Agnes Kilhefner, Fleetwood.
Funeral will be held at 2 today from the Mellinger Funeral Home, Denver, the Rev John R Albright officiating. Burial will be in Mellinger's cemetery near Schoeneck."
