"Mrs. Sarah Mellinger
Stevens, May 9 - Sarah (Rudy), 84, widow of Michael Mellinger, died this morning in her home, Mt. Airy, Stevens R.D. 1, after an illness of two weeks. She was a daughter of the late Frederick and Amanda (Edwards) Rudy.
She was a member of Mellinger's Lutheran Church, Schoeneck. Surviving are a son-in-law, Stephen O. Henly, of San Jose, Cal.; two grand children, Arthur Henly, of Ephrata; Helen, wife of Samuel Borry, of Schoeneck; two great-grandchildren and two sister, Mrs. Agnes Kilhefner, of Ephrata, and Susan, wife of Peter Wealand, of near Denver.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Mellinger Funeral Home, Denver. Further services in Mellinger's Lutheran Church, Schoeneck, the Rev. Harold F Minnich officiating. Interment in adjoining cemetery."
