Billie Jean Edds 80 of Van Buren died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 in a local hospital. She was a retired accountant for Edds Clinic, a member of Van Buren First Baptist Church, a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a major in music. She was a former church secretary and music director for the First Baptist Church in Blytheville. She and Dr. Edds lived in Ohio and St. Joseph, Missouri before moving to Mulberry and then Van Buren in 1957. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Millared C. Edds.
She was survived by one daughter, Laura Merrick of Van Buren, three sons, Bill Edds of Van Buren, Richard Edds of El Dorado, Kansas and Stephen Edds of Hot Springs, two brothers, A.J. Turk of Bowie, TX and Ray Turk of Lewisville, AR., six grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of her Sunday School Class & Senior Adult Dept.
