Esther Pearl Weakland, daughter of S. A. and Martha Weakland, died of diphtheritic croup, aged six years, seven months, fourteen days. She was a pupil of the west ward primary school, a bright little girl it was extremely hard for her parents to lose. The funeral services were held at the home of her parents, Rev. E. B. Cross officiating.
