Mrs. Ellen C. Cooper, 66, of 1900 S. Overton Ave., died Wednesday at the Independence Sanitarium and Hospital .
She was born in Allendale, Mo., and had lived in this area most of her life. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Maywood Baptist Church.
Her survivors include her husband, John G. Cooper of the home; a son, John E. Cooper, Shawnee, Oklahoma,; two daughters, Delores Cooper and Joan Cooper of the home; a brother, Ralph Watson, St. Joseph; four sisters, Faye Overstreet, and Alice Watson of St. Joseph, Edith Miller, Rushville, Mo.and Betty Boyer, Mason City, Iowa; three grandchildren; and a great grandson.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Floral Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-8 tonight at chapel.
