Olline Cofer Brower
WATER VALLEY: Mrs. Olline Cofer Brower, age 86, of Water Valley passed away Monday, July 30, 2007, in Baptist Memorial Hospital—North Mississippi at Oxfod.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Pine Valley Homemakers Club, a longtime writer for the North Mississippi Herald and the Calhoun County Journal. Mrs. Brower was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Borg/Warner and had always helped on the family farm.
Mrs. Brower's funeal will be held at ten o'clock in the morning Wednesday, August 1, 2007, in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Stormant and Bro. William Hodge officiating. Interment will follow in Turkey Creek Cemetery, with Tim Gholson, Scoot Taylor, Jake Campbell, Derek Woodard, Chad Kimzey, and Lynn Havens as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Gholson, Glenn Taylor, Art Samuels, Ed Reemes, Zack Taylor, Trey Brower, Zach Brower, Cody Brower, and Colton Brower.
Mrs. Brower is survived by: her husband, J. G. Brower of Water Valley; daughters, Linda (Jim) Gholson of Water Valley; Marty (Glenn) Taylor of Water Valley, Alice Brower of Water Valley, and Ellen (Art) Samuels of Foley, Alabama; sons, John (Carolyn) Brower II and David (Sherry) Brower, all of Water Valley; a sister-in-law, Claire Cofer of Jackson, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding Mrs. Brower in death were: her parnets, Oyer Jackson and Allie Goforth Cofer; a sister, Ginger Holloway; brothers, Jack, Frank, Dennis, Earl, Mitchell, and James Cofer.
