BURNS - In this city, May 2nd, Elizabeth T. Burns, widow of the late Samuel D. Burns.

Funeral private from the residence of her son-in-law, John McPherson, No. ?8 Bank St., on Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment at Broad St. cemetery.

Elizabeth was the first child born to parents Furman and Mary McCullough Schellinger of Hopewell, Cumberland, NJ. She married Samuel Dare Burns in Bridgeton, NJ, on 3 Mar 1836. Together they had children: Evaline, James, Samuel, Jennie D, Ellen, Henry C, Jane Dare. Burton P and Elizabeth E. Elizabeth E was born, 27 Apr 1850, unfortunately, this child, had only a short life, dying on 17 Nov 1850.
