Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Wayne Hart, age 82, will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 28, 2020, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA, with Rev. Mike Fink officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery, Springhill, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 27, 2020, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home.

Mr. Hart was born on February 11, 1938 to Martin and Lillie Hutchcraft Hart in Akin, IL and passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in Sarepta, LA. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a self employed truck driver for more than 40 years. He was married for 61 years to his love and constant companion Deloris. He loved spending time with and spoiling his children and grandchildren. He was an avid hunter, fisherman who loved interacting with people and making them laugh and he was wild about his dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Deloris Giles Hart of Sarepta; two sons, Micheal Hart and wife, Diane of Port Lavaka, TX, Jerry Hart and wife, Laura of Knox City, TX; daughter, Anita H. Gildon of Kilgore, TX; fifteen grandchildren, Stephanie Lind and husband, Brian, Jennifer Cockerham, Zachary Hart, Arianne Hart, Nicolas Hart, Joshua Hart and wife, Frances, Jared Hart, Amythne Hart, Shelby Hart, Jeremiah Hart, Jacob Hart, Draper Davis and wife, Michelle, Candice Carter and husband, Morris, Jeremy Gildon, Justin Gildon and wife, Jordan; twelve great-grandchildren, Jaxon Cockerham, Hudson Cockerham, Jordan Lind, Asher Lind, Abigail Lind, Lilianna Hart, Natalie Hart, Hailey Davis, Ashlynn Davis, Dekoda Davis, Morris Carter, III, Barrett Gildon; two brothers, Leonard Kerley of Thousand Oaks, CA, Edgar Kerley, Jr. and wife, Ernestine of TX.

Mr. Hart was preceded in death by father, Martin Hart; mother, Lillie Bennett; step-father, Edgar Kerley, Sr., son-in-law, Alfred Lynn Gildon; sister, Wilma Hinde; and granddaughter, Brianna D. Hart.
