Funeral services for Mrs. Deloris Jean Hart, age 79, will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, May 18, 2020, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA, with Rev. Mike Fink officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery, Springhill, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 17, 2020, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Hart was born on April 7, 1941 to Thomas Otto Giles, Sr. and Lilla Marie Alexander Giles in Shreveport, LA and passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020 in Sarepta, LA. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Springhill and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. In her younger years she was an avid bowler and archer.
She is survived by two sons, Micheal (Diane) Hart of Port Lavaca, TX, Jerry Lynn (Laura) Hart of Knox City, TX; daughter, Anita H. (Alfred) Gildon of Kilgore, TX; grandchildren, Stephanie (Brian) Lind of Pearland, TX, Jennifer Cockerham of W. Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Wayne Hart; brothers, Tommie Giles, and Jimmie Giles; sisters, Gennett King, and Dottie Segebrath; son-in-law, Alfred Gildon, and granddaughter, Brianna D. Hart.
Pallbearers will be Draper Scott Davis, Justin Gildon, Zachary Hart, Thomas L. Giles, and Jacques Barnard.
