Mrs D M Boyd dies; services on Saturday

Mrs D Merwin Boyd, 58, of 2809 21st St, died at 5:46 pm Thursday night St Mary's hospital. Mrs Boyd had been a semi-invalid for 30 years, and her health had failed the past two years.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday at First Methodist church with the Rev Arthur W Johnson, district superintendent, officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Gass Funeral Home after 5 pm today until the hour of service.

Nee Anna Elizabeth Hold, she was born Oct 1, 1900, on a farm at Shell Creek north of Columbus. The family moved to Fullerton in 1908 and in 1914 returned to Columbus, with Miss Held graduating from Columbus High school in 1916.

On June 18, 1926, she was married to D Merwin Boyd at West Point by the Rev Mr Klink, and they made their home in Columbus.

Mrs Boyd was a member of the Methodist church, and was affiliated with the Methodist Ladies Aid.
