Earnest Herman Held, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Held, was born in Platte county, Nebr., May 6th, 1894, and died at his home 11 miles northeast of Palmer, September 7, 1910, aged 16 yrs, 3 months and 1 day.
Earnest was baptised June 10th, 1894 in the St. John's Lutheran Church, and was confirmed in the same church, April 12th, 1908. Earnest was a good boy and will be missed and mourned in the home which his young life helped to brighten, also by relatives and host of friends.
He leaves a father, mother, grandmother, three brothers and four sisters to mourn his loss. Their friends have the sympathy of all in their sorrow....
