Margaret F Lucas-Eiffert, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on February 14, 2020. Born on January 27, 1934, in Charleston, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late E.C. and L. Irene (Martin) Derrick.

Margaret retired from Continental Grain Co, in 1987, and retired from the American Red Cross, in 2009. She was a devout Christian and had been a member of Bethel UMC, Fort Wayne. A blessed soul, Margaret was loving, joyful, and funny. She found pleasure in making others happy. She loved to sing! She created extraordinary jewelry which she often gifted to friends, and caregivers.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Mike) Howard, and Peggy L Lauer, both of Fort Wayne; son, Wayne D (Traci) Rodebaugh, of Greentown; granddaughters, E. Megan (Rick) Brooks, Heather Lauer, both of Fort Wayne, and Jade Lauer, of Corpus Christi, Texas; great-grandsons, Michael (Morgan) and Aaron Brooks; great-great-granddaughter, Alannah Brooks; as well as four other grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Donald W Lucas, in 2005, and Arthur R. Eiffert, in 2012; two brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral service will be 10:00am, Saturday, February 22, 2020, at D. O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 4 to 8pm, Friday, February, 21, 2020, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
