Mr. White was a son of the late John Scott White and Evelyn Myriam Bostick White. He was a resident of McComb, MS. He was a retired car salesman for Bill Speros Chrysler in Memphis, TN. He was a U.S. Army Air Forces veteran of WWII, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, a Baptist and a graduate of McComb High School.
He was survived by two sons, Hugh L. White of McComb, MS and Vernon Scott White of Savannah, GA; one sister, Irene White Wilkinson of McComb; one brother, E. Quinton White of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and 5 grandchildren.
