Ernest was born in Paris, Texas to PFC Labin Gilbert Thomas (my precious grandfather) and Tolisha Paralee (Pearlee?) Maynard.
He was the brother of Virgil Crittington Thomas, Newton Hubert Thomas, Albert Stanley Thomas,
Muriel Vada Thomas Wright, and Oletha Thomas Wilson-Murphy.
Ernest served in the US Army during WWII as a Medic. I remember him as a quiet and gentle man. He worked as a farmer before and after WWII. Ernest was a devout Christian. He never married nor did he have any children of his own. Ernest is loved and missed my his brothers, sisters and his 18 nieces and nephews...including me!
