Linda Howe, 76, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, January 20, 2020, in Lafayette. She was born May 6, 1943, in Crawford, Tennessee, to Robert and Virgie (Hargis) Cooper.
Linda married Harvey E. Howe in Lebanon. He passed away on September 11, 2001.
She was a member of the Eagles Lodge, the VFW Auxiliary, several card clubs in Frankfort, and was a past member of the Living Word Ministry Church. She also served as the past president and was the current Sergeant at Arms for the American Legion Auxiliary.
Linda is survived by a son, Jeremy Howe, daughter, Angela Ford, sisters, Bonnie Curnutt, Brenda Huffer, Jane Rodriguez, Phyllis Emens, and Lori Abbott, brothers, Winston Cooper, Truman Cooper, Bobby (Chris) Cooper, Tommy Cooper, and Mike (Carol) Cooper, 3 Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Robin Crews, brother, James Paul Cooper, and sisters; Lena Painter and Peggy Downs.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Genda Funeral Home Lindaโs brother, Truman Cooper, will officiate. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.
