• FILLMORE -- Graveside services for Russ Lynn Cummings, 39, Bromide, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bold Springs Cemetery near Fillmore with Gerald Hart officiating.
Cummings was born Feb. 1, 1962, at Ada and died Aug. 19, 2001, near Coleman.
He married Sonya Kay Eason on May 25, 1990, at Coalgate and was a cement worker for Arnold Farmer. He had been a resident of Bromide since age 4 and attended school at Wapanucka.
Survivors include his wife; of the home; a son, Nolan Hawk; a daughter, Chensa Rose, both of Ravia; a stepson, Bill McCarter III, Milburn; and mother, Sondra Cummings, Wapanucka. He was preceded in death by his father, Nolen Leon Cummings.
Bearers will be Jackie Callen, Arnold Farmer, James Dickerson, Willard Kemp, Mike Loper, Jay Burns and Kenneth Cathey. Honorary bearers are Bill Cummings, Winston Palmer, Marvin Russell and Bill McCarter III.
Brown's Funeral Home, Atoka, will direct services.
