12 Feb 1974: William A. Hartman, husband of the late Pearl Dowhower Hartman, 1307 Washington St., died unexpectedly at his residence on Monday. He was 66. Born in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Henry F. and Margaret Hartman, Lebanon. He was retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church and the Friendship Fire Co. In addition to his widow and his mother he is survived by two sons, William W. and Ronald G., both of Lebanon. He is also survived by a grandson; two brothers, John, Wadsworth, Ohio, and Thomas, Lebanon; three sisters, Mildred, wife of Urban Cottrell, Anna, wife of Harvey Sechrist, and Ethel Hartman, all of Lebanon.
