FreeBMD death as Edith M Eales. Daur of Albert Eales & Elsie Ellen nee Bean, she died as a result of injuries received in the Gotha Raid on Folkestone on 25th May 1917. Ethel was a book-keeper at Stokes Bros. and was severely injured in both legs when the bomb fell on the shop. She was taken to Royal Victoria Hospital and died the following day - the day before her birthday.
