Mary L. Nitch 425 East Cumberland Street died Sunday evening, April 24, 1977, in Good Samaritan Hospital at age 75. She was born March 1, 1902, in Lebanon and her parents were William Henry Whitman and Fannie Beamesderier. She was a member of Hope Bible Church Fredericksburg. Surviving are her husband John C. Nitch and eight children John C. Nitch, Jr., Lebanon, Anna Mae Trauax, Fulton County, Harry Franklin, Lebanon, Mary L., Lebanon, Helen, wife of Clarence Anderson, Fredericksburg, Minnie, wife of Ray Bixler, Ronald J. and Betty Shifflett all of Lebanon. Also surviving are a number of grandchildren two sisters Sarah Lawrence, Louisiana, Helen Blauch, Lebanon , two brothers, the Reverend Charles Whitman, William and Harry Whitman all of Lebanon.
