"Garlinghouse -The funeral of Mrs. Phila Agard Stewart, who died at her residence in Eelpot, on Friday last, was held here on New years day, Rev. W. W. Holt officiating. Mrs. Stewart was for many years a resident of this place where she had many warm friends. She had for many years been an earnest christian and an active member of the Free Baptist Church. Her life has been exemplary, her death peaceful and resigned. Although the day was cold and stormy quite a large concourse of friends and neighbors came to sympathize with the afflicted family and to pay their last tribute of respect to one who in life they held dear.
