George Francis McLean, Jr., age 89, of Santa Fe passed away on December 13, 2019. He was born on June 11, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri to parents, George Sr. and Louise (Bulock) McLean. George married Rosetta R. Vitale on November 8, 1973 in St. Louis. Together, they moved to Santa Fe, Texas in 1980 to begin a new chapter to their story. He became the Director of Operations at Friendswood School District and accomplished many things in those 13 years.

George enjoyed hunting and anything to do with trains. He also loved to tinker with everything he could get his hands on.

George was preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Louise McLean; and his daughter, Kathy Pfaff.

Left to cherish the many memories is his loving wife, Rosetta R. McLean; his children: Jo Ann Nickels, Rick Harrison, Sue Lyons, and Steve Harrison; granddaughters: Melissa Weldon and Michelle Clark; as well as 12 additional grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
